Christchurch Aerospace Meet Up #6: Starting An Aerospace Business

We had three stellar speakers talking about different aspects of starting an aerospace business..

Mads Møller has been involved with the creation of over 25 start ups so was a wealth of knowledge. He focussed on the local incubator / accelerator ecosystem and introduced xstart.

Gill Dal Din from ChristchurchNZ talked about exploration, innovation and commercialisation. Relevant contact points were given for the ideation, start up and scale up phases. The New Zealand Aerospace Challenge 2019 was also covered.

Dr Maria Pozza, barrister and solicitor, presented an engaging talk about legal business essentials and touched on the state of New Zealand space regulation.
