Who We Are

Aerospace New Zealand is an industry body that promotes the interests of our nation.

We encompass broad aspects of aerospace: aviation, space flight, rocketry, manufacturing, engineering, geospatial mapping, data analytics, education, training, and services. Aerospace New Zealand works with individuals and organisations that want to grow the economic wealth and aerospace capability in New Zealand.

In 2022, New Zealand launched the fourth most rockets in the world, behind the United States, China and Russia. We now have a unique opportunity to solidify our position as a major Space-going nation, and embed it into our Kiwi Identity.

Our organisation consists of a committee of volunteers, and four dedicated Aerospace New Zealand staff, all working towards a common goal: promoting the interests of New Zealand aerospace community.
